Squeegee is a field-service management platform operated by Nexdynamic Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom.
For the purposes of UK and EU data protection laws:
You (the customer) act as the Data Controller for any personal data you enter into Squeegee relating to your customers, staff, or business activities
Squeegee (Nexdynamic Ltd) acts as your Data Processor for that data.
We act as Data Controller only for the data we collect directly from you, such as your account information, billing details, and technical usage data.

2. The Types of Data We Process
2.1 Data We Process as Your Data Processor
When you use Squeegee, you may enter personal data about:
your customers
your staff or contractors
your business contacts
job details and service history
GPS locations related to job activities
This data is controlled entirely by you. We process it only as necessary to provide the service.
2.2 Data We Process as Data Controller
When you create and use a Squeegee account, we process:
Account Information
Name, email, authentication details
Company information
Password, stored using industry standard hashing
Contact & Billing Information
Phone number
Billing address (if provided)
Payment Information
Processed securely by the respective payment provider
We do not store your card details, only a token and metadata
Technical & Device Data
Collected to provide services, improve performance, security, and reliability:
Device type and OS
IP address
App version
Diagnostic and crash data
Location Data
Collected only for features that require it (e.g. navigation, route planning)
Tracking is inactive while the app is backgrounded
Because of the location based services within Squeegee, on devices using the Squeegee app, we record your location. Without this, some of the services can not and will not work. Squeegee gives you the choice to enable or disable use of location.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is hosted on secure servers based in the UK.
Security measures include:

Regular backups are taken and stored securely with DigitalOcean
If a data breach ever occurs, we will notify affected users and regulators within required timeframes.
5. How Long We Keep Personal Data
5.1 Data You Control
Retained in your account until you delete it
Retained after account closure only where legally required (up to 7 years)
5.2 Data We Control
Retained while your account is active
Retained up to 7 years after closure for tax and statutory obligations
5.3 Backups
Backup data automatically rotates out and remains encrypted until deleted.
5.4 Deletion Requests
Submit requests via privacy@squeeg.ee.
Some data may be retained where legally necessary.
6. When We Share Personal Data
We never sell your data.
6.1 As Data Processor
We share data only with service, tools, and infrastructure needed to provide Squeegee.
6.2 As Data Controller
We share limited account and operational data with our chosen providers.
All providers are bound by GDPR-compliant contracts where required.
6.3 Legal Obligations
We may disclose data to comply with lawful requests.
6.4 Business Transfers
If Squeegee is acquired or restructured, data may transfer under continued protections.

Data is primarily stored in the UK.
Some providers may process data internationally where required in order to deliver the specific service (e.g. SMS messaging, route navigation etc).
All transfers comply with GDPR standards.

Whilst you have these rights, exercising one or more of them may make it impossible for Squeegee to provide services to you.

For data you store in Squeegee, you are the Data Controller and are responsible for fulfilling rights requests from your customers. We assist where needed.
